Organizational Excellence
NC State’s commitment to organizational excellence is visible in every corner of the university. Most notably, this commitment was demonstrated through the university’s recent reaffirmation of accreditation process with Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). This 10-year comprehensive review process encompasses all areas of the institution, from student learning outcomes to facilities.
Our physical and virtual infrastructures are modernizing at record pace. Under our new physical master plan, we continue to improve existing structures and design new ones that value sustainability, productivity and social connection. The newly established University Data and Analytics unit leads efforts to build the foundation for high-quality analytics and improved decision-making. Our University Strategic Budget Initiative helps us: efficiently align and allocate resources, optimize the usage of data across funding sources, improves the understanding of decision-making, and better engages campus leadership with the budget.
